Quantum pH - Up

Quantum Freshwater pH Up is scientifically formulated to safely increase pH. Without the regulation of pH, the pH of your aquarium is far more susceptible to fluctuation which may lead to decreased efficiency of biochemical processes essential to the livelihood of your aquarium inhabitants. Carbon dioxide is present in aquariums due to either CO2 canisters and/or fish respiration which reacts with water forming carbonic acid, which may decrease the pH of your aquarium. pH Up is designed to increase pH of aquariums without increasing sodium meaning it can be safely used all freshwater aquariums included planted aquariums. We recommend conducting research into the preferred pH range of your aquarium’s inhabitants and adjusting your dose to obtain your desired pH.

CAUTION:

Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes or skin flush immediately with running water for 5-15 min, if irritation persists seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately, sip water if possible and do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the medical professional.

Instructions:

Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds before each use, this product is not to be used with a dosing pump. For dosing directly into the aquarium - we recommend diluting with your aquarium water first, then slowly adding into high flow. For dosing into water change container – we recommend adding slowly while mixing then continue water change as usual.

This product must be used in both freshwater and planted aquariums.

Dosing:

1 capful/100L (26 gal) will raise pH by 0.1. Potassium will increase by 0.95ppm and Alkalinity will increase by 1.21ppm. Note: the volume required may vary due to the environment of your aquarium. We recommend adding in smaller amounts, then testing pH and making adjustments based on your results.
