Elos have developed a range of high precision aquarium test kits suitable for marine use. This nitrate test kit includes colour chart and syringe to help you accurately measure levels within your aquarium. Over time nitrate levels within your aquarium can slowly increase, as organic matter breaks down. This is particularly true in heavily stocked aquariums with a large quantity of biological filter media. As nitrate is toxic to our livestock, it is important to monitor levels so that preventative action can be undertaken - in the form of water changes.
