Microsorum pteropus 'Narrow' (1-2-Grow Tissue Culture)
Microsorum pteropus 'Narrow' is an elegant narrow-leaved variety of the ever-popular Java Fern, prized for its refined appearance and exceptional hardiness. Compared to standard Java Fern, it produces slimmer, upright leaves that add texture, depth and a natural look to aquascapes of all sizes.
Supplied as a 1-2-Grow tissue culture, this plant is laboratory-grown under sterile conditions, ensuring it is free from snails, algae and pesticides. It is an excellent choice for shrimp aquariums and planted tanks where a clean, pest-free start is essential.
Description
Microsorum pteropus 'Narrow' is an epiphytic aquarium plant that naturally grows attached to wood and rocks rather than rooted in the substrate. It gradually develops strong roots that securely anchor the plant to driftwood, stones and other hardscape, creating a beautiful natural effect.
Its slender leaves provide a more delicate appearance than traditional Java Fern, making it ideal for adding vertical structure to aquascapes without overwhelming the layout. Its slow growth and low maintenance requirements make it suitable for beginners and experienced aquascapers alike.
