Get the benefits of a traditional pond bottom drain without digging up your pond or cutting through the liner. The Aquacadabra Retro Fit Weighted Suction Dome is designed for existing ponds where installing a conventional bottom drain is impractical, providing an effective way to draw debris and solids from the pond floor directly into the filtration system.

Simply position the weighted dome at the lowest point of the pond and connect it to your filtration system. The integrated base plate holds the dome at the correct working height to provide maximum draw across the pond floor while maintaining unrestricted water flow, even where the bottom is not completely flat.

Supplied with fittings for gravity-fed or pump-fed systems, the Retro Fit Suction Dome provides a practical solution for upgrading an established pond without the major work involved in fitting a conventional bottom drain.

Aerated Version

The aerated version combines the same suction performance as the Weighted Suction Dome with integrated pond aeration. The movement created by the aeration helps move debris and solids towards the suction dome while also increasing oxygen levels within the pond.

This additional water movement makes the aerated version 30% more efficient at removing debris and solids. Increased aeration also benefits aquatic and plant life while assisting with the removal of harmful gases from the pond.

Air Diffuser

The supplied air diffuser features 3.16 metres of perforated tube and is designed to provide maximum aeration. The diffuser will begin producing finer bubbles after it has been submerged in the pond for approximately 30–60 minutes.

The air diffuser also includes 9 metres of 8mm air tubing, connected to a reducer with a 15cm length of 4mm airline. This arrangement allows the system to be connected using the smaller 4mm airline where required.
