The Aquael ASAP Internal Filter combines efficient mechanical and biological filtration with a compact, practical design. Suitable for both traditional aquariums and aquaterrariums, it provides effective water circulation and filtration while remaining straightforward to maintain.

The filter features an energy-efficient motor combined with a large transparent filter chamber containing a carefully selected filtration sponge. As water passes through the sponge, debris is mechanically captured while beneficial bacteria colonise the filter media, supporting the aquarium's natural biological filtration.

Easy & Convenient Maintenance

The Aquael ASAP has been designed to make routine filter maintenance quick and simple. The filter chamber can be removed separately, allowing the sponge to be cleaned or replaced without removing the entire filter from the aquarium.

The filtration sponge should be gently rinsed using water removed from the aquarium during a water change, helping preserve the beneficial bacteria living within the filter media.

Suitable for Aquariums & Aquaterrariums

A major advantage of the ASAP range is its ability to operate in shallow water from approximately 5cm deep. This makes it particularly useful for aquaterrariums and other shallow-water setups as well as conventional aquariums.

The filter also creates strong movement at the water surface, helping to oxygenate and circulate the aquarium water.
