Description

NēoMarine Synthetic Sea Salt is formulated to recreate natural seawater ratios of major, minor and trace elements, including non-conservative elements critical to marine aquarium stability. The result is a salt mix that produces water chemically comparable to filtered tropical reef seawater, supporting the long-term health of fish, corals and invertebrates.

Made using USP- and ACS reagent-grade ingredients, NēoMarine is not derived from evaporated seawater. Instead, it is developed by a marine scientist and produced in Brightwell Aquatics’ own facility under strict quality control standards. Every batch is lot numbered and sampled to maintain consistency and reliability.

The manufacturing process promotes uniform particle size and a dry, homogenous blend, helping to ensure consistent mixing and predictable results. When mixed at 134g per 3.785 litres (1 US gallon) of purified water, NēoMarine yields a specific gravity of approximately 1.025 g/cm³, with a pH of around 8.30 and alkalinity of approximately 7.5 dKH.

Key Features:

  • Precision-formulated synthetic sea salt for all marine aquaria
  • Replicates natural seawater ratios of major, minor and trace elements
  • Suitable for reef, mixed reef, FOWLR, fish-only, mangrove, sea grass and brackish systems
  • USP- and ACS reagent-grade ingredients
  • 134g per 3.785L produces ~1.025 specific gravity
  • Approximate pH 8.30 and alkalinity 7.5 dKH at recommended dosage
  • Produced in-house under strict quality control
