With an impressive 71,000 square feet of surface area per litre, and each brick providing approximately 100,000 square feet for bacterial growth, it supports effective denitrification and reduces phosphate levels and dissolved organics.

Infused with Aragonite, the brick buffers the pH at the bacterial level, preventing acid build-up and maintaining bacterial viability. Its high porosity ensures the media remains wet for extended periods, even after drainage, supporting bacteria survival during equipment failure.
