This aquarium substrate contains all the mineral nutrients needed for luxuriant aquatic plant growth - without nuisance algae. The ideal bed depth is three inches at the rear of the aquarium sloping forwards to two inches. Do not rinse and include water in bag as it contains a water conditioning solution
