The Eheim ECCO-Pro's are energy- saving, powerful and efficient upgrades from the standard ECCO Pro's. They are simple to set up and use and come with a pre-filter for longer intervals between cleaning so whether you are new to fish keeping or consider yourself a bit of an expert one of these filters will benefit you greatly.

There are a number of impressive and useful features on the ECCO Pro's, they can filter large volumes of water and are self priming so as long as you keep the unit lower than the aquarium gravity and air pressure will ensure that the filter is constantly filled. Easy to use shut of taps have also been included in the design which make using the ECCO Pro more convenient than other filters, and water flow can be controlled by turning the outlet taps.

Each Filter canister inside is individually filled with a different kind of media providing excellent biological and mechanical filtration which can be easily removed for cleaning and refilling. The size of the filter determines the number of baskets: ECCO Pro 130 has one basket, the 200 model has two and the 300 model, three.

The excellent level of water flow means that water is pumped speedily to the filter media, the pre-filter removes dirt from the water before the included filter media removes all pollutants and debris leaving the water clean and clear. The use of the pre-filter means that less waste reaches the media, so they keep cleaner for longer. This saves you both money and time.

The ECCO runs quietly and causes minimal noise disturbance. This is thanks to the ceramic components which run quietly and smoothly. Carrying the filter to the sink is easy with the multi-function handle. It can be used for carrying, as a lever for opening/closing or priming. It has a safety catch too, so remains secure at all times.
