Maintain effective aquarium filtration with the Eheim Professionel 3e Filter Pad Set, a replacement filter media pack designed for compatible Eheim 2076 and 2078 external aquarium filters.

This five-piece filter pad set contains 1 x Coarse Pre-Filter Foam and 4 x Fine Filter Pads, providing mechanical filtration to help remove dirt, debris and suspended waste particles from aquarium water.

The combination of coarse and fine filtration media helps maintain efficient water circulation while protecting the remaining filter media from excessive dirt accumulation.

Key Features:

• Fits Eheim 2076 & 2078 – Designed for compatible Professionel 3e external aquarium filters
• 5-Piece Filter Pad Set – Includes 1 coarse foam and 4 fine filter pads
• Mechanical Filtration – Helps capture larger debris and smaller suspended particles
• Coarse Pre-Filter Foam – Traps larger dirt particles before they reach the main filtration media
• Fine Filter Pads – Help remove smaller particles for clearer aquarium water
• Supports Biological Filtration – Porous foam provides a surface for beneficial bacteria to colonise
• Easy Maintenance – Convenient replacement media for regular filter servicing
• Freshwater & Marine Use – Suitable for compatible freshwater and saltwater aquarium systems

Coarse Pre-Filter Foam

The included coarse filter foam provides the first stage of mechanical filtration, helping capture larger particles of dirt, debris and waste.

By removing larger particles before they reach the remaining filtration media, the coarse foam helps reduce clogging and supports efficient filter performance.

Fine Filter Pads

The four fine filter pads provide additional mechanical filtration by capturing smaller suspended particles that pass through the earlier filtration stages.

These pads help maintain clearer aquarium water and support the performance of your existing Eheim external filter.

Compatibility:

• Eheim Professionel 3e 2076
• Eheim Professionel 3e 2078

Please check your existing filter model and media dimensions before ordering.

Maintenance & Replacement:

Regular maintenance of filter pads helps maintain effective water circulation and filtration performance.

Coarse foam can be gently rinsed using water removed from the aquarium during routine maintenance.

Fine filter pads should be replaced when heavily soiled or according to the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations.

Avoid washing established biological filter media under untreated tap water, as chlorine may affect beneficial bacteria.
