EHEIM Substrat Pro is a high-efficiency biological filter media designed to improve water quality in both freshwater and marine aquariums. Manufactured from sintered glass, this media features an extremely porous structure that supports the growth of beneficial bacteria vital for effective biological filtration. With a surface area of approximately 450 m² per litre, it provides ideal conditions for nitrifying bacteria to thrive, helping to break down ammonia and nitrite efficiently.
