Effective Activated Carbon Filtration

Fluval Edge Activated Carbon provides chemical filtration by adsorbing selected dissolved substances as aquarium water passes through the filter media.

This helps reduce unwanted odours, yellowing and discolouration, supporting a cleaner and clearer aquarium environment.

Activated carbon can also help remove certain residual aquarium medications after a completed treatment, where appropriate.

Designed for Fluval Edge Aquariums

These replacement carbon sachets are designed for use with compatible Fluval Edge aquarium filters.

They provide a convenient replacement option for maintaining the chemical filtration stage of your existing aquarium system.

Please check your existing filter model and media dimensions before ordering to ensure compatibility.

Maintenance & Replacement:

Activated carbon gradually becomes exhausted as it adsorbs dissolved impurities from aquarium water.

Replace the carbon media regularly according to the manufacturer's recommendations and the requirements of your aquarium.

Remove activated carbon during medication treatments if instructed by the medication manufacturer, as carbon may reduce the effectiveness of certain treatments.
