One of the standout features of the Flex 2.0 is its integrated filtration system, which now includes a flexible, modular media setup and whisper-quiet pump with rubberised feet for reduced vibration. The 9 Gal model features oversized foam, carbon and BIOMAX biological media, while the 15 Gal model includes an EZ-lift handle and stackable media chambers for added convenience and configurability. Both models include a designated heater channel to support stable tropical water conditions.

Lighting is powered by adjustable RGB + White LEDs, controllable via remote for colour customisation and dynamic visual effects. With up to 2000 lux and a colour temperature of 6500–7000 K, the LEDs support both plant growth and clear viewing.
