The FX UVC In-Line Clarifier 6W connects directly to external canister filters to help eliminate suspended algae responsible for green and cloudy water. Designed for straightforward in-line installation, it delivers chemical-free clarification using targeted UVC light at a precise 253 nm wavelength.

Featuring CCFL bulb technology, the unit runs cooler than many traditional UVC lamps, offering a lifespan of over 20,000 hours. The cooler operating temperature also helps prevent limescale build-up on the quartz sleeve, reducing maintenance requirements. The replaceable bulb can be easily changed when required (sold separately).

The internal water path is engineered to reduce flow velocity and maximise contact time with the UVC bulb, improving clarification efficiency. With a compact design, the clarifier fits neatly inside most aquarium cabinets and can be mounted directly to compatible FX filters or to cabinet walls using the included universal bracket.

The 6W energy-efficient unit is suitable for aquariums up to 400 US gallons (1500 litres), with a maximum flow rate of 563 GPH (2130 LPH). It operates in either water flow direction and includes an indicator light to confirm operation. Adapters are supplied for compatibility with a range of hose sizes.
