Stage 1 – Foam
The Fluval foam insert provides mechanical filtration, trapping larger particles, debris and waste from the aquarium water. The foam also securely holds the Carbon and Biomax media within the filtration system.

Fluval Activated Carbon provides chemical filtration, helping remove odours, discolouration and impurities to maintain clean and clear aquarium water.
