Available Variations:

Blue Pre-Filter Foam Pads

The Blue Pre-Filter Foam provides the first stage of mechanical filtration, helping capture larger dirt particles, fish waste and suspended debris.

This helps reduce the amount of physical waste reaching the finer filtration stages and supports consistent water circulation through the external filter.

The porous foam structure can also provide additional surface area for beneficial bacteria to establish.

White Fine Filter Floss Pads

The White Fine Filter Floss Pads are designed to capture smaller suspended particles that pass through the pre-filter stage.

These pads help remove fine dirt and debris, supporting improved aquarium water clarity.

Replacing heavily soiled fine filter media helps maintain effective filtration performance.

Compatible Eheim Ecco Pro Models:

• Eheim Ecco Pro 130 – Model 2032
• Eheim Ecco Pro 200 – Model 2034
• Eheim Ecco Pro 300 – Model 2036

Please check your existing filter model and media dimensions before ordering.

Effective Aquarium Filtration

Combining blue pre-filter foam with white fine filter floss provides multiple stages of mechanical filtration.

The blue foam captures larger debris, while the white floss helps remove smaller suspended particles.

This combination helps maintain cleaner aquarium water and reduces the amount of physical waste circulating through the aquarium.

Cost-Effective Filter Maintenance

Regular replacement of worn or heavily soiled filter media helps maintain effective filtration without needing to replace the complete external filter.

These Aquacadabra compatible foam sets provide a practical and economical alternative to genuine Eheim replacement media.

The larger pack quantities are particularly useful for aquarium keepers managing multiple filters or stocking up on replacement media.

Cleaning & Replacement Instructions:

1. Disconnect the external aquarium filter from the electrical supply.
2. Close the appropriate hose valves and open the filter according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Remove the existing pre-filter foam and fine filter floss pads.
4. Gently rinse reusable blue foam using water removed from the aquarium.
5. Replace white fine filter floss when heavily soiled or no longer effective.
6. Install the replacement media in the correct positions within the filter.
7. Reassemble the filter and restart according to the manufacturer's instructions.
8. Check that water is circulating correctly through the filtration system.

Important: Avoid replacing all established biological filter media simultaneously, as this may reduce beneficial bacterial populations.
