Unlike specialist diets developed for enhanced colour development or accelerated growth, Hikari Friend focuses on providing the essential nutrients required to help maintain healthy fish at an economical price.

This makes it a practical choice for pond keepers looking for a reliable and cost-effective daily feeding solution.

Enriched with Stabilised Vitamin C

Hikari Friend contains stabilised Vitamin C, an important nutrient that helps support the natural immune system and general wellbeing of koi and other pond fish.

Vitamin C contributes to normal physiological functions and helps support fish during periods of environmental stress.

Large Floating Pellets for Easy Feeding

The large floating pellet design is particularly suitable for bigger koi and ornamental pond fish that can comfortably consume larger food pellets.

Floating pellets allow pond keepers to observe fish as they feed at the water surface, making it easier to monitor feeding activity and adjust the quantity provided.

Feeding only what your fish can consume within a few minutes helps reduce uneaten food and supports good pond water quality.

Helps Maintain Clear Pond Water

Hikari uses advanced production technology to produce pellets designed to minimise staining and clouding of pond water when fed according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

The floating format also makes it easier to identify and remove excess food before it begins to break down within the pond.

Feeding Instructions:

1. Select an appropriate feeding quantity based on your fish size and stocking level.
2. Distribute a small amount of pellets across the pond surface.
3. Allow your fish a few minutes to consume the food.
4. Adjust feeding according to water temperature, pond conditions and fish activity.
5. Avoid overfeeding and remove any uneaten food where necessary.

Important: Fish feeding requirements change with water temperature and seasonal conditions. Always adjust feeding according to the needs and activity levels of your pond fish.
