The JBL PROFLORA CO2 BASIC SET V is a CO2 fertiliser system designed for freshwater aquariums between 40 and 300 litres. It delivers essential carbon dioxide to support healthy plant growth, improve oxygenation, and reduce algae. This set includes all necessary components for setup—except the CO2 cylinder—and is ideal for aquarists who already own or wish to choose their own compatible cylinder.

Installation is simple: the included pressure reducer connects to a CO2 cylinder (not included), and the hose routes through a bubble counter with integrated check valve to the ceramic diffuser. CO2 is efficiently dissolved into the aquarium water, supporting plant photosynthesis. A CO2/pH permanent test is also included to continuously monitor CO2 levels and allow for fine-tuning. A solenoid valve (not included) can be added for automatic night-time shut-off.

To complete your setup, you can choose between two options of the JBL PROFLORA CO2 CYLINDER 500 U. These are disposable, pre-filled CO2 cylinders (500 g each), designed for use with aquarium fertiliser systems using an external M10x1 thread. Each cylinder includes a rubber stand for secure, upright operation and is TÜV certified for safety. Choose from a single cylinder (x1) or a value triple pack (x3).
