The AquariumSystems MaxiJet range of pumps have been available for many years and offer affordable reliability. There are two MaxiJet ranges, the Pump and the Powerhead, with seven models in total.
The MaxiJet pump range is available in three sizes, 500lph, 750lph and 1,000lph. The MaxiJet Pump range differs to the Powerhead version we have by having less accessories included.
The MaxiJet 1000 includes a bracket to enable it to be attached firmly to the back glass of your aquarium; together with a strainer to prevent small fish or inverts being sucket through the pump.
MaxiJet pumps are highly recommended and have proven to be very reliable (we have some which have been operational within our aquariums for over 6 years). Their size makes them easy to hide within rockwork, where they can be used to add the circulation required if you're keeping marine inverts. MaxiJets also benefit from having an outflow which can accept 12/16mm hosing. As such they're ideal for use on fluidised filters and other such applications.
