It works by reducing the duckweed’s natural food source, thus eliminating future growth and keeping your pond water free from increased levels of duckweed.

When to use: 

Use with the build-up of nuisance plants such as duckweed.  Cristalclear removes phosphate from the water, the nutrient responsible for the rapid spread of duckweed.  Add to the pond every week for the first 2 weeks and every other week thereafter during the growing season.

Before using Cristalclear make sure you:

• Remove adsorbent filter material - carbon, zeolite etc.    
• Switch off UV
• Increase Aeration
• Allow plenty of time to observe fish
• Do not mix medications
• Leave 10 days between treatments if no improvement is seen
