100% Natural Aspen Wood Fibres

Aspen Fibre Bedding is manufactured using sustainably sourced, pure aspen wood fibres.

The natural material provides a soft and lightweight substrate suitable for creating comfortable reptile enclosures.

Unlike heavily scented wood-based materials, aspen fibres are naturally low in odour, making them a practical choice for suitable reptile habitats.

Encourages Natural Burrowing Behaviour

Many reptiles naturally dig, burrow and create sheltered areas within their environment.

The soft fibrous texture of aspen bedding allows suitable reptiles to move through the substrate and create burrows or nesting spaces.

Providing an appropriate substrate helps encourage natural behaviour and supports environmental enrichment.

Highly Absorbent & Odour Controlling

Aspen fibres are naturally absorbent, helping collect moisture and waste within the enclosure.

This helps maintain cleaner bedding conditions and reduces unwanted odours when combined with regular spot cleaning.

The lightweight fibres are easy to remove and replace during routine enclosure maintenance.

Heat-Treated & Kiln-Dried

The aspen fibres are kiln-dried and heat-treated during production.

This process helps reduce bacterial contamination and improve the absorbent properties of the bedding.

The resulting substrate provides a practical natural material for suitable reptile housing.

Suitable for Burrowing & Nesting Reptiles

Natural Aspen Fibre Bedding can be used for a variety of reptiles where dry, loose wood-fibre substrates are appropriate.

It is particularly useful for species that naturally burrow or require suitable nesting material.

Always ensure the substrate is appropriate for the specific reptile species, enclosure humidity and husbandry requirements.

Directions for Use

1. Ensure the reptile enclosure is clean and dry before adding new bedding.
2. Spread the aspen fibres evenly across the enclosure floor.
3. Provide a suitable substrate depth according to the requirements of your reptile.
4. Allow additional depth where appropriate for natural burrowing behaviour.
5. Remove waste and contaminated bedding during daily spot cleaning.
6. Replace the substrate as required to maintain suitable hygiene.
7. Keep the bedding dry and avoid excessive moisture accumulation.
