ProRep Tortoise Life BIO Substrate 10L is a premium substrate for Mediterranean tortoises and other arid species. It is made from a blend of loam, soft fine sand and coconut husk, helping to recreate natural habitat soils while offering a practical balance of texture and moisture retention. The coconut husk also makes the mix lighter and safer if ingested.

Directions for Use
Spread the substrate evenly across the enclosure to a depth of 2" (5cm) for young animals and 6" (15cm) or more for adults. Russian tortoises may require even deeper substrate due to their burrowing nature. Spot clean daily and replace every 2 to 3 weeks. Light misting can help maintain local humidity without over-saturating the substrate.
