ProRep Tortoise Life BIO is a premium blend of loam, soft fine sand, and coconut husk, designed to replicate the natural habitat soils of Mediterranean tortoises and other species from arid environments. This professional-quality substrate offers the perfect balance of texture and moisture retention, while the addition of coconut husk makes it lighter and safer if ingested.

Directions for Use: Spread the substrate evenly across the enclosure to a depth of 2" (5cm) for young animals and 6" (15cm) or more for adults. Russian tortoises may require even deeper substrate due to their burrowing nature. Spot clean daily and replace every 2 to 3 weeks. Light misting can help maintain local humidity without over-saturating the substrate.
