Place DeNitrate in a location with slow water flow, ensuring it remains below 200 L per hour for optimal anaerobic conditions. Initial nitrate reduction can be expected within days, stabilising levels around 4-5 mg/L. Pre-use rinsing is recommended to remove any dust. For substantial nitrate levels, consider performing water changes prior to introducing DeNitrate.
