Flourite Black Sand is not chemically coated or treated, ensuring it will not alter the pH balance of the aquarium water, thus maintaining a stable and healthy environment for aquatic life. It is recommended to rinse the substrate before use to remove residual dust, and to fill the aquarium slowly to prevent excessive disturbance of the substrate, which may cause slight initial cloudiness. This cloudiness is temporary and will typically clear within 12-72 hours. Optionally, use Seachem Clarity in conjunction with a mechanical filter to expedite this process.
