Flourite Dark can be used as a complete aquarium substrate on its own or mixed with other suitable gravels to create a customised substrate.

Preparation

Flourite Dark is pre-washed; however, a brief rinse before adding it to the aquarium may help improve initial water clarity.

If temporary cloudiness occurs during setup, this should clear. Seachem Clarity can also be used to help clear aquarium water.
