These quality polypropylene filter grids specifically made for aquatic use are 1/2" (15mm) thick and each square is 5/8" (18mm).

Used in virtually all professional filters and highly recommended by the team here at Aquacadabra, these can easily be cut to size or cable tied together for larger filters.
