Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks 10L – Koi & Pond Fish Cold Weather Food

Support your pond fish throughout the cooler months with Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks 10L, a highly digestible floating fish food specially developed for koi, goldfish and other ornamental pond fish during periods of lower water temperatures.

Featuring a wheatgerm-based formula, Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks provide essential nutrients to help maintain fish health, vitality and condition when their metabolism naturally slows during autumn, winter and early spring.

As pond water temperatures decrease, koi and other pond fish become less active and their digestive systems operate more slowly. The easily digestible wheatgerm formula helps provide suitable nutrition during these seasonal changes.

Supplied in a convenient 10 litre pack, Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks are ideal for seasonal feeding in established garden ponds and koi ponds.

Specially Developed for Cooler Water Temperatures

Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks are designed to provide suitable nutrition when pond water temperatures begin to fall.

Koi, goldfish and other pond fish are cold-blooded animals, meaning their metabolism and digestive activity are influenced by the surrounding water temperature.

During cooler conditions, fish generally require smaller quantities of food and benefit from easily digestible formulations.

The wheatgerm-based recipe provides a practical feeding solution during these seasonal changes.

Highly Digestible Wheatgerm Formula

Wheatgerm is commonly used in seasonal pond fish diets because it provides easily digestible nutrients.

The Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks formula helps support normal digestion and nutrient absorption while maintaining essential nutritional intake.

This makes it particularly useful when fish are less active and feeding requirements are reduced.

Supports Fish Health & Vitality

Maintaining suitable nutrition during cooler weather helps pond fish remain in good condition as they move between seasons.

Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks provide a balanced combination of nutrients to help support general fish health, vitality and natural resilience.

The formula is suitable for koi, goldfish and other ornamental pond fish that can comfortably consume floating food sticks.

Floating Sticks for Easy Feeding

The floating food sticks allow pond keepers to monitor fish activity and observe how much food is being consumed.

This is particularly useful during colder periods when fish appetite can change significantly.

Feeding only what your fish can consume within a few minutes helps reduce excess food and supports cleaner pond water.

Ideal for Autumn, Winter & Spring

Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks are a practical seasonal food for periods when water temperatures are lower but pond fish remain active and willing to feed.

During colder conditions, reduce feeding frequency and quantity according to the behaviour of your fish and the manufacturer's recommendations.

Do not feed fish that are inactive or not accepting food.

Feeding Instructions:

1. Check your pond water temperature before feeding.
2. Ensure your fish are active and showing interest in food.
3. Distribute a small amount of Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks across the pond surface.
4. Allow fish a few minutes to consume the food.
5. Adjust feeding quantity and frequency according to water temperature and fish activity.
6. Remove any uneaten food to help maintain pond water quality.

Important: Feeding requirements vary by fish species, pond conditions and water temperature. Follow the manufacturer's seasonal feeding guidance and avoid feeding when fish are inactive.
