16W UV Quartz Sleeve Replacement for Pond UV Clarifiers

Keep your pond UV clarifier operating efficiently with this 16W UV Quartz Sleeve, designed to protect the UV lamp while allowing effective transmission of UV-C light into the surrounding water.

The quartz sleeve acts as a protective barrier between the UV bulb and pond water, helping prevent water from reaching the lamp and its electrical components. At the same time, the quartz glass allows UV-C light to pass through, supporting effective green water control.

Ideal for replacing a cracked, damaged or cloudy quartz sleeve, this replacement component helps maintain the performance and reliability of your existing pond UV filtration system.

Key Features:

• 16W UV Quartz Sleeve – Designed for compatible pond UV clarifiers using a 16W UV lamp
• Protects UV Lamp – Creates a barrier between the lamp and pond water
• Effective UV Transmission – Allows UV-C light to pass through the quartz glass
• Helps Maintain Clear Water – Supports effective green water algae control
• Replacement Quartz Tube – Ideal for replacing cracked, damaged or cloudy sleeves
• UV Clarifier Maintenance – Helps maintain the performance of your existing UV system
• Pond & Koi Filtration – Suitable for compatible garden pond and koi pond UV units

How It Works:

The quartz sleeve surrounds the UV lamp, preventing direct contact between the electrical lamp components and pond water.

As water passes through the UV clarifier, UV-C light travels through the quartz sleeve and targets free-floating algae responsible for green pond water.

Maintenance:

Regularly inspect and clean your quartz sleeve to remove limescale and mineral deposits that may reduce UV transmission.

It is recommended to inspect the sealing O-rings whenever replacing or cleaning the quartz sleeve. Replace worn or damaged O-rings to help maintain a watertight seal.
