Each system is supplied with a crystal clear, braceless aquarium made from ultra-clear low iron glass, with polished edges and a modern metal frame cabinet. The aquarium includes a black glass invisible weir box, multi-chamber sump, top-up reservoir and a full pipework set, giving reef keepers a practical sump-based saltwater system that can be adapted to their own equipment, methods and budget.

ClariSea Compatibility:

Each D-D Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula system is supplied with a ClariSea ready sump and pipework. This allows a ClariSea unit to be fitted easily, with no adjustments or modifications needed to either the sump or pipework.

The ClariSea fleece filter is a compact, efficient water filtration system which continuously removes suspended particles such as micro algae, detritus, food, organic waste and gravel dust from the water column. This helps improve water quality and clarity, and is suitable for both marine and freshwater aquariums, fish breeding and coral propagation systems.

Ultra Flow Weir Comb:

All D-D Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula aquariums come fitted with the Ultra Flow Weir Comb. The specially arranged vertical and horizontal drain slots allow up to 30% to 50% more water through compared with a standard vertical weir comb.

The Ultra Flow Weir Comb maintains a high flow rate at all times, allowing the use of larger return pumps. In normal circumstances, this can result in lower running levels, and can provide excess drain-down capacity in the event of a power cut or a worst-case aquarium overflowing scenario. The weir comb is easily removable for cleaning.

Flow Nozzles:

The D-D Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula aquariums come complete with a 3D printed flow generator and wide outlet nozzle attachment, allowing the flow coming from the sump to be directed and adjusted to suit the reef.
