The Red Sea REEFER 300 G3+ Marine Aquarium is a 300 litre reef-ready aquarium system combining a 246 litre display tank with a 54 litre in-cabinet sump. Featuring a spacious 90 cm wide display, this aquarium provides room for creative aquascaping, coral placement and marine fish, while allowing you to choose your own lighting, filtration and circulation equipment to suit your reef setup.

Part of the Red Sea REEFER G3+ range, the aquarium features ultra-clear glass, elegant jet-black eurobracing and high-quality euro-silicone bonding. The 12 mm thick front, side and bottom glass panels provide strength and clear viewing of your aquarium, making it easy to appreciate the colours and details of your fish, corals and rockwork.

The aquarium is supported by a reinforced marine-spec plywood cabinet featuring laminated panels, epoxy-painted doors, stainless-steel hinges and adjustable levelling feet. The cabinet provides a clean, furniture-style appearance while keeping the sump, plumbing and filtration equipment housed beneath the display.

The improved G3+ water-management system incorporates hydrodynamic piping, an enlarged downflow inlet and the ReefGate high-precision gate valve. The adjustable valve allows accurate regulation of water flow through the overflow, helping reduce turbulence and operating noise when balanced with a suitable return pump. Removable surface-skimming combs also provide convenient access for routine cleaning and maintenance.

The integrated 54 litre sump provides dedicated space for essential filtration equipment, including an adjustable-height protein skimmer chamber with an operating water depth of 17–23 cm. The mechanical filtration section includes one filter sock and one media cup, while the removable compartment allows installation of a compatible ReefMat automatic roller filter as an optional upgrade.

Unlike smaller models in the range, the REEFER 300 G3+ features a refugium-ready sump layout, giving you the option to incorporate a refugium into your filtration system. This provides additional flexibility when planning biological filtration and nutrient management for your marine aquarium.

The REEFER 300 G3+ includes ReefControl Lite with an automatic top-off (ATO) module. The system automatically replenishes freshwater lost through evaporation, helping maintain a consistent aquarium water level and salinity. Integrated temperature monitoring also provides useful information for everyday aquarium management.

ReefControl Lite supports up to two compatible ReefSense probes or sensors and one 12 V DC device. Optional ReefSense accessories and ReefControl Power can be added to expand monitoring and control capabilities as your aquarium develops.
