The Red Sea REEFER MAX 750 G3+ Marine Aquarium is a large reef aquarium system combining a 600 litre display tank with a 150 litre in-cabinet sump, providing a manufacturer-rated total system water volume of 750 litres. Its 180 x 65 x 60 cm display offers substantial space for creating a marine aquascape with live rock, coral colonies and suitable marine fish. The MAX system combines an ultra-clear glass aquarium, reinforced cabinet, filtration sump and integrated plumbing with a comprehensive package of lighting, circulation, filtration and aquarium monitoring equipment.

The 180 cm display length provides room for arranging multiple rockwork structures, established coral colonies and open swimming areas. Its 65 cm front-to-back dimension also allows greater depth in the aquascape, with space to position corals at different levels and maintain access around the rockwork for water circulation and maintenance.

Part of the Red Sea REEFER G3+ range, the aquarium features ultra-clear glass bonded with high-quality euro-silicone for long-term structural integrity. The front, side and bottom glass panels are all 19 mm thick. Jet-black glass eurobracing reinforces the upper perimeter, while additional bottom bracing provides further structural support beneath the display.

The REEFER MAX 750 G3+ is supported by a reinforced marine-spec plywood cabinet with laminated panels, epoxy-painted doors, stainless-steel hinges and adjustable levelling feet. Front aluminium supports provide additional cabinet reinforcement, while the enclosed interior houses the filtration sump and associated equipment. The G3+ water-management system uses hydrodynamic piping, an enlarged downflow inlet and the ReefGate high-precision gate valve. The valve allows accurate adjustment of water flowing from the display into the sump, helping reduce turbulence and operating noise when balanced with the return pump. Removable surface-skimming combs provide convenient access for overflow cleaning and maintenance.

Two 32 mm return outlets support single- or dual-pump plumbing configurations, providing flexibility when distributing returning water within the aquarium. The supplied equipment list specifies one ReefRun G2 8000 return pump, with an adjustable flow rate of 4,100–8,300 litres per hour, a maximum head height of 5.3 metres and power consumption of 24–73 W.

The integrated 150 litre sump provides dedicated space for filtration equipment beneath the aquarium. Its adjustable-height protein skimmer chamber operates at a water depth of 21–27 cm, allowing the level to be set according to the requirements of the skimmer. The mechanical filtration section includes two filter socks and two media cups, while the removable compartment allows installation of a compatible ReefMat automatic roller filter. The sump is also refugium-ready, providing the option to incorporate a refugium into the filtration layout.

The supplied MAX equipment list includes a ReefMat 1200 automatic roller filter, which removes suspended waste from aquarium water using a replaceable filter roll. The ReefMat 1200 has a maximum water throughput of 9,000 litres per hour and is rated for aquarium systems up to 1,200 litres. Automatic mechanical filtration helps reduce the need for routine filter sock cleaning.
